Austin Worthen
In 2019, Austin created The Worthen Project. Long before it was created, Austin had a vision of helping the men around him gain the same kind of confidence in their style that he has.
Over years of studying trends and experimenting with countless looks, Austin has grown a wide array of knowledge, experience, and tips in Men’s Fashion. He can quickly pick up on someone’s personal style and their level of comfort with that style; he can then hone in on areas for improvement based on their style, comfort, and budget.
Austin’s mission with The Worthen Project is to prove that Men’s Fashion is for EVERY man. It can be a complicated world, but Austin has learned how to navigate it with ease. He wants to bring that knowledge to the everyday man; for him, it’s not just for millionaires and social media influencers. He believes that anyone, no matter their lifestyle or budget, can look good and feel great.

Our Story
“By the age of five, I knew I was going to be a minister. I would often wear suits and ties to school — not just on career day, but fairly frequently throughout the school year. After graduating high school, I decided to start dressing like a man all the time, not just once in awhile. I started to dig into menswear: style, fashion, traditions, trends, rules, guidelines. I read articles, watched videos, listened to podcasts and discussions.
In all that time, from when I was about eighteen until now, I’ve learned a lot about menswear, and I’m on a mission to share it with you. I don’t want anyone to feel as lost as I sure was!
You can say I have a signature look. When I’m dressed up, you’ll always find me in a suit, 9/10 times a white dress shirt, a pair of novelty socks and a coordinating tie, dress shoes, and never an empty breast pocket.”

Our Values
Affordability
You don’t have to spend a million bucks to feel like a million bucks! We want to show you how to buy things that are well within your budget that are also well within your style!
Value
It’s no shocker that one of our values is value itself! While one of our core tenets is, of course, affordability, there are certain times when splurging is encouraged. If you know you’re going to get a piece that you’ll have for years and years to come, you’re getting a better value than if you repurchased the cheaper version every year. We want to help you gauge the value of an item BEFORE you buy it.
Personalization
What’s amazing about men’s style is that, even though it seems homogeneous, there are so many ways to tailor it to your needs. (Get it? Tailor?) Our goal is to tailor our advice to you, to what you need, to what fits your lifestyle.
Practicality
Speaking of lifestyles, not everything that comes out of a men’s fashion Instagram page is going to apply to the everyday man. Half of them will tell you to wear a three-piece suit every day to look at least halfway decent, while the other half will tell you that you should spend $500 on a t-shirt just to seem interesting. Absolutely not! There are so many ways to look and feel good that don’t involve what haughty, out-of-touch influencers think, and we want to share them with you!
Education
That being said, some things are absolute MUSTS! The rules of men’s fashion, so to speak. While rules are always meant to be broken, it’s important to know exactly what rules you’re breaking when you do break them. The rules are in place for a reason (especially rules about clothing fit and outfit composition), but there’s a lot of wiggle room within them. We want to teach you what the rules are, and what boundaries you’re working within so that you can flow in and out of them with ease.
Experimentation
Rules and regulations, do’s and don’t’s, yeses and nos — all well and good, but there’s still so much room to play around! There’s a great fluidity to men’s style. That’s something we want to highlight, and it’s something we want to help you utilize. If you’re looking to change things up drastically (or maybe just a little), we want to help you find new, fun, exciting, rule-abiding ways to do that!
